1、 Case background

In order to meet the entertainment needs of long-distance bus passengers and improve their travel experience, Zhongtong Bus Company has upgraded the seats of some of its vehicles and prioritized our product to install a 7-inch seat back embedded VOD (video on demand) display.

2、 Installation preparation

Product selection: After market research and comparison, we have selected a 7-inch embedded VOD display with clear image quality, stable operation, and suitable for long-distance bus environments.

Preparation of tools and materials: Prepare the necessary tools such as screwdrivers, wire stripping pliers, zip ties, as well as necessary wires and accessories for installation.

Vehicle preparation: Selected passenger cars with good condition and suitable seat structure as installation objects.

3、 Installation process

Seat modification: Firstly, a small-scale modification was made to the seat back to accommodate the size and installation requirements of the monitor. A hole suitable for embedding the monitor has been opened on the backrest.

Wiring and connection: The power and signal lines of the display are concealed along the seat frame and the inner wall of the bus, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the wiring.

Monitor fixation: Use a specially designed bracket and screws to securely secure the monitor to the seat back, ensuring that it does not shake or fall off during vehicle operation.

System debugging: After connecting all lines, a comprehensive debugging of the VOD system was carried out to ensure that each monitor can display the image normally and the sound quality is clear.

4、 Installation effect

After installation, the 7-inch seat backrest embedded VOD display seamlessly integrates with the passenger car seats, not only enhancing the overall aesthetics of the seats, but also providing passengers with a convenient way of entertainment.
